Parts that have exceeded their stipulated warranty or guarantee period are ineligible for warranty claims.
Vulnerable parts and consumables do not enjoy guarantees for repair, replacement or compensation of fault products, including tires, saddles, plastic parts, brakes, brake rotors, brake pads, brake cables, surface scratches, spokes, rims, etc.
Wear and tear items are not covered by this warranty. Wear and tear refer to damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal riding. For example, your cassette and chain will, even if properly maintained, eventually wear out requiring replacement. The same applies to scratches and other potential damage to the paint or graphics of your bicycle that can result from normal use and exposure to the elements. Your ebike may over time also develop minor creaks or other noises while riding, which usually means it requires maintenance.
Other Typical Wear and Tear Items Not Covered by This Warranty:
Bearings
Brake Pads
Chains
Free Hub Bodies
Handlebar Grips
Rubber moving parts
Shifter, brake cables and casings
Spokes
Sprockets
Stripped threads/bolts
Tools
Transmission gears
Damages resulting from the use of non-original parts for ebike modifications are not eligible for warranty coverage. Any malfunctions resulting from the user's failure to adhere to the prescribed usage, maintenance, and care instructions as outlined in the user manual are not eligible for warranty coverage. Any damages incurred due to deliberate acts of violence or vandalism are expressly excluded from warranty protection. Damages arising from improper use or storage (water infiltration or submersion, air or saltwater, bird droppings, or chemicals) by the user or accident are specifically excluded from warranty coverage. Components damaged as a result of voltage instability are not covered under this warranty. Failures attributed to overloading the ebike beyond its weight capacity are not covered by this warranty. Any modifications or alterations made to the eBike that are not approved by Met Riders may void this warranty. Damages and associated risks arising from non-compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements regarding safe vehicle operation are not included in this warranty.
